Since 2014 the situation in Mediterranean Sea has been named and tackled as a ‘refugee crisis’, name of this ‘crisis’ migrants have accommodated ‘hotspots’ camps. Within these spaces, their experiences often articulated by humanitarian sector discipline psychology traumatic, with refugees being described traumatised. In article, I critically discuss politics trauma within European territory aid, specific focus on Greece, amid current, so-called crisis’. start situating crisis concepts role state governance. continue discussing how terms ‘hotspot’ ‘camp’ emerged discourse practice, to explore then there.
